The Optional Protocol to CEDAW, the Additional Protocol, and the CEDAW Handbook for Parliamentarians were also published by Uçan Süpürge. 2004: Following the publication of Uçan Süpürge’s handbook explaining how CEDAW should be used by parliamentarians, the parliamentarians who would be spokespersons for the convention within the parliament were selected, and information meetings were held for these parliamentarians under the name of CEDAW Champions.
