At the International Day of the Girl Child Festival, we came together with children and parents with the support of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality. Dr. Ayşe Şule Çağlar contributed to our festival with her special presentation on the significance of the day and her song “I have no equal; nor anyone like me” which she wrote especially for children.
Many workshops specifically designed for children were organized at our festival, and a concert was performed by a choir of refugee and Turkish children as part of the “Our Choir” project by the Research Centre on Asylum and Migration (IGAM).
