Uçan Süpürge, as a civil society organization based in Ankara, has also undertaken a mission to facilitate cooperation between women’s organizations and public institutions, as it is an organization at the center of politics. It has brought together women’s organizations and public institution representatives in more than 20 provinces to eliminate the problems experienced due to the lack of or insufficient dialogue between women’s organizations and the public, and to strengthen dialogue and cooperation between women’s organizations and public institutions at the local and national level. In these meetings, many issues have been discussed, from the history of the women’s movement to the problems experienced by women’s organizations, and the public’s approach to women’s organizations.
