Flying News (1998-2010)

The “Flying News” communication bulletin has been published since February 1998. The bulletin aims to enhance communication between women’s NGOs, and to support women’s groups by providing information on legal rights, changes in laws regarding women’s rights, events nationwide and abroad, new books and cultural events related to women, and information on funding sources.

As of April 2004, 22 issues, plus three special issues in English, were published (English:March 2000, May 2003 and January 2005). The 23rd issue was published as a special issue and featured Turkey’s women’s agenda over the past year.
