Alin Taşçıyan

 

Born in Istanbul in 1969, Alin Taşçıyan studied Journalism and Public Relations at Istanbul University. She began her career at Milliyet newspaper in 1991, where she worked for many years as a film critic, reporter, and editor. She prepared and presented film programs on television channels, primarily TRT 2, bringing hundreds of classic and contemporary films to viewers.

 

Since the 2000s, she has worked as a programmer and consultant at numerous film festivals in Turkey and internationally. She has played an active role in the selections of many festivals, including those in Istanbul, Antalya, Adana, Malatya, Filmmor, and the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival. She is a member of the European Film Academy.

 

She has held management positions at the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI) for many years, including president, vice president, and general secretary. She is currently part of the program team for the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival and continues to write film reviews on sanatatak.com.

 

Ayşe Ürün Güner

 

Ayşe Ürün Güner is one of the founders of the Flying Broom Women’s Civil Society Organization, established in 1996. She has been involved in the foundation’s management for many years and has served as the President of the Flying Broom Foundation since September 23, 2025. She has been involved in numerous projects in the fields of women’s rights and gender equality as a founder, director, and coordinator.

 

She has been selected for various programs and scholarships at national and international levels. She has worked within the framework of GMF–USA, the US Department of State’s LEAP–State Program, ENA–France, the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ “Les Personnalités d’Avenir” Program, and the European Union Visitors Program (EUVP). She is part of the European Union Delegation to Türkiye’s pool of experts on gender equality.

 

She worked as a parliamentary advisor in the Turkish Grand National Assembly for approximately 15 years, gaining experience in legislative processes, lawmaking, and public policy. Her main areas of expertise are women’s rights, gender equality, advocacy, lobbying, and political consulting.

Dalım İlteriş Mayadağlı

Dalım İlteriş Mayadağlı graduated from Hacettepe University Faculty of Communication as the second-ranked student in her faculty and with high honors. She works in the fields of cinema, festival programming, and cultural production.

She is currently in her fourth year at the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival, where she handles festival coordination, film traffic management, and short film programming. She has also served as an assistant in the national feature film section of the Antalya Golden Orange Film Festival.

Mayadağlı, who works as a communications specialist and collaborations coordinator at Enki, has participated in preliminary jury and evaluation processes at various film festivals.
