**29. FLYING BROOM INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S FILM FESTIVAL FILM APPLICATION REGULATIONS**
A) PURPOSE
The purpose of the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival is to make the productions of women filmmakers visible, to strengthen women’s areas of expression and representation in cinema, to support a rights-based and inclusive cinema approach, and to bring these films together with the audience. The festival aims to bring national and international documentary, fiction, feature, and short films signed by women filmmakers to the audience within the framework of the theme determined every year.
B) FESTIVAL DATES
Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival will be held in Ankara between June 2–7, 2026.
C) APPLICATION DATES
- Application Start Date: December 30, 2025
- Application Deadline: February 20, 2026 (Friday, at 23.59)
Applications made after this date will not be evaluated.
D) APPLICATION CONDITIONS
- Films applying to the festival must have been completed after July 2025.
- It is mandatory that at least one of the directors of the applying films is a woman.
- To the festival program;
- National and international
- Documentary, fiction
- Feature and short films are accepted.4. The fact that the film has been shown at other festivals before does not prevent application.5. The festival reserves the right to observe thematic integrity, representation sensitivity, and program balance among the applying films.
E) APPLICATION METHOD
Applications are made only via the online application form.

It is the applicant’s responsibility to fill in all requested information and documents completely during the application.
Applications containing missing or misleading information may be excluded from evaluation.
F) EVALUATION AND SELECTION
- Films applying to the festival are evaluated by the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival program team.
- During the evaluation process;
- The film’s artistic approach
- Narrative language
- Relation to the theme
- Its approach to women’s representation is taken into consideration.
3. The festival management is not obliged to select all applying films.
4. Selected films are announced through the festival’s official website and communication channels.
G) SCREENING AND TECHNICAL CONDITIONS
- Technical details of the films to be shown at the festival (format, subtitles, etc.) are shared with producers and directors after the selection.
- Screening copies must be delivered to the festival management before the festival date.
H) GENERAL PROVISIONS
- Producers and directors applying to the festival are deemed to have accepted all articles in this regulation.
- The festival management reserves the right to make changes to this regulation when deemed necessary.
- The authority to decide on matters not included in the regulation belongs to the festival management.
I) EACH ONE A SEPARATE COLOR COMPETITION CATEGORY
Each One a Separate Color is a special competition category included in the festival scope.
No monetary award is given within the scope of this category.
The competition selection is determined by the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival program team.
The winning film among the films in this category is selected by a three-person jury assigned by the International Federation of Film Critics (FIPRESCI)Bu kategoride yer alan filmler arasından kazanan film, Uluslararası Film Eleştirmenleri Federasyonu (FIPRESCI) tarafından görevlendirilen üç kişilik jüri tarafından seçilir
