Submissions Open for the 29th Flying Broom Women’s Film Festival

The 29th Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival, scheduled for June 2–7, 2026, in
Ankara, is now accepting submissions.

 

Women+ filmmakers wishing to participate in the festival
can submit their applications until February 20, 2026.

 

As with every year, the Flying Broom International Women’s Film Festival aims to bring together national and international documentaries, fiction features, and short films directed by women+ within the framework of a designated theme.

 

To be eligible, films must have been completed after July 2025, and at least one of the film’s
directors must be a woman+.

Women filmmakers who wish to take part in the festival can access the application form through here. The submission deadline is Friday, February 20, 2026.
