Established in Ankara, Uçan Süpürge launched this project to strengthen women’s relationships with public institutions, particularly with the Turkish Grand National Assembly. As in Uçan Süpürge’s First Step project, YASA-DER was also a partner in this project. Collaborating with the Association of Legislative Experts, Uçan Süpürge printed and distributed the booklet of the Traces of Women in Democracy project to be distributed to women’s civil society organizations. The aim of the project was also to ensure that women’s organizations become more actively involved in legislative processes. Therefore, within the scope of this project, training sessions were provided to women’s organizations on topics such as participation in legislative processes and lobbying.
